Project Overview

Subterranean basement retaining walls constructed using Dincel structural formwork require a specialized waterproofing specification. While Dincel polymer walls provide superior concrete encasement, the vertical interlocks, base junctions, and footing connections remain vulnerable to lateral hydrostatic soil pressure and groundwater migration if not sealed by licensed waterproofing specialists.

Technical Execution & Standards Compliance

• Substrate Preparation: High-pressure decontamination of the excavation trench, footing interface, and Dincel PVC skin to ensure 100% mechanical adhesion.
• Bond Breaker & Fillet Application: High-modulus polyurethane fillet installed along the slab-to-wall cold joint junction to absorb ground settlement.
• Elastomeric Subterranean Membrane: Application of multi-coat heavy-duty polymer-modified bitumen / polyurethane membrane designed for subterranean immersion.
• Drainage & Protection Layer: Integrated dimpled drainage cell and geofabric filtration board installed before backfilling to prevent membrane puncture from rock fill.
